This hits keep coming for The Project for Melbourne Indesign 2016, with stone and marble supplier Artedomus teaming up with industrial and interior design group Thomas Coward.
Artedomus’ history traces back to 1985, when the group founded as Domus Ceramics, striving to serve the architectural and design communities with the finest Italian marble and stone. Not content simply with supplying, the brand now employs a range of experienced stonemasons who create stunning stonework by hand, from bespoke vanity tops, kitchen benches and staircases to full residential or commercial installations.
The eponymous studio of designer Thomas Coward has launched following the designer’s history of bathroom design. Now working across furniture, spaces and products, experimentation is the key the Thomas Coward design process, with the studio striving to create forms that haven’t been seen before, which is equally challenging and exciting.
What makes this collaboration particularly exciting is that these two have worked together in the past, with Thomas Coward having designed the showroom of Artedomus in 2014, as seen above.
